ECP European Compliance Platform

How it works

ECP is a B2B marketplace connecting applicants with providers for certification, testing and compliance support in the EU.

Switch language in the header. This page describes the platform workflow.

Roles

Applicant

Manufacturers/exporters/importers (and sometimes consultants) who submit applications and receive results.

Creates → submits → sends → tracks → receives results

Provider

Notified Bodies, Certification Bodies, Labs, EU Authorized Representatives, Consultants.

Receives → reviews → responds → delivers results

High-level workflow

1) Register & complete profile

Both sides register. Applicants complete organization profile; providers set up listing and service coverage.

2) Create & submit application

Applicant creates a request (certification, testing, consulting, representation, etc.), can attach documents and submits. Before sending to providers, you can run AI “Check application” to generate a summary and recommendations.

3) Dispatch to providers

Platform matches providers and sends: subscribed providers receive instantly in the platform (with attachments); public providers receive email notification with application details without attachments.

4) Provider response & delivery

Providers review, accept/decline, execute work and deliver results (reports, certificates, protocols).
