These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the European Compliance Platform ("ECP", "Platform"), including the website, dashboards, and related services.

1. Definitions

"Applicant" means a user submitting an application or request for services.
"Provider" means an organization or professional offering conformity assessment, laboratory, consulting, authorised representative, or other compliance-related services.
"Application" means a request for services published on the Platform.

2. Acceptance of the Terms

By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

3. Platform role; no professional advice

The Platform facilitates introductions and communications between Applicants and Providers. The Platform does not itself provide conformity assessment, legal advice, or certification services. Any information provided via the Platform is for general informational purposes and does not constitute professional advice.

4. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate information and keep your account details up to date.
You are responsible for all activity under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.

5. Applications, responses, and communications

Applicants may publish Applications. Providers may respond or decline.
You agree not to upload unlawful, misleading, confidential third-party data without authorization, or content that infringes rights.
Attachments (uploaded documents) are shared only with subscribed providers who have platform access. Public providers may receive application details by email without attachments; documents can be provided by the applicant upon request.
AI features: if you use AI "check application" functionality, the Platform may process application data (and attachment metadata, not the files) to generate summaries and recommendations. Do not upload secrets.
We may send operational emails related to your account and Platform activity. Public Providers may receive notifications based on publicly available service profiles; you can opt out.

6. Public Provider notifications and opt-out

If your organization is listed in a public directory or otherwise appears to provide relevant services, you may receive notifications about new Applications. You may opt out via the unsubscribe link included in each notification email.

7. Intellectual property

The Platform and its content (excluding user-submitted content) are owned by the Platform operator or licensors and are protected by applicable laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Platform in accordance with these Terms.

8. Prohibited conduct

Attempting to gain unauthorized access, disrupt services, scrape data at scale, or bypass security controls.
Using the Platform to send spam, malicious code, or unlawful content.

9. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not guarantee that any Applicant will receive offers, or that any Provider will obtain work.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Platform.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or applicable law.

12. Privacy

Our processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" above indicates when the latest version became effective.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Courts of Prague, Czech Republic.
