FAQ — Providers

Frequently asked questions about joining and working as a provider on ECP.

Joining & access

Who can join as a provider?

Providers offering any of the following: EU compliance, certification, testing, regulatory support, EU Authorized Representative (MDR/IVDR/RED/LVD), UK Representative (UKCA/UK MDR), PRRC Services (Art. 15), GPSR Responsible Person, EU Cosmetics Responsible Person, GDPR Article 27 Representative, DSA Article 13 Legal Representative, REACH Only Representative, VAT Fiscal Representative, WEEE/EPR Compliance, Swiss FADP Representative, or consulting. Different provider types serve different roles, so good categorisation matters. Completing your profile improves routing relevance.

What is the Early Access Program?

ECP is currently onboarding selected providers under an Early Access Program. During this phase, dashboard access is offered free of charge while the platform builds stable application flow and expands its network. Providers onboarded during this phase may later receive preferential terms when commercial subscription features are introduced.

Will there be a paid subscription later?

Potentially yes. ECP may introduce paid subscription features or premium services as the platform moves toward full commercial launch. At this stage, no fixed public pricing is being committed on the main site, and founding providers may receive preferential terms later.

Receiving applications

How do I receive applications?

Providers with dashboard access receive applications directly in the platform workflow. Publicly listed providers may receive email notifications or digests according to mailing schedules. You can manage notification preferences where applicable, and the goal is to ensure relevant requests reach the right providers.

Why do some applications have no attachments?

Attachments (uploaded documents) are available to providers working through dashboard access. Public digest recipients may receive application details by email without attachments. In such cases, request the necessary documents directly from the applicant.

How do I improve the quality and relevance of requests I receive?

Keep your provider profile complete and precise: service categories, coverage, typical lead times, and any constraints. Routing depends on these signals. If your scope is broad, you may see more variety; if it's narrow, fewer but more relevant requests. Over time, the platform can route better when providers maintain accurate metadata.

Managing applications

Can I accept/decline applications?

Yes. Providers can accept, decline, or request clarification directly in the interface. Declining with a brief reason (out of scope, no capacity, missing info) improves applicant experience and reduces back-and-forth. Accepting typically signals readiness to proceed to commercial/technical details. Clarification is normal and often the best first step.

What if a request is out of scope or missing key documents?

Decline or request clarification. If it's close to your scope, asking 2–3 targeted questions can convert an unclear request into a good lead. If it's truly out of scope, a quick decline helps everyone move on. You can also suggest what scope would be acceptable.

Dashboard & notifications

Dashboard vs. email digest: can I control notifications?

Yes. You can opt in or out of digest-style email notifications in your settings where applicable. Even with dashboard access, some providers prefer email as a backup channel. The dashboard remains the primary workflow for fast response and structured case handling.

Commercial & privacy

Do you set prices or commercial terms?

No. Providers define their own prices, terms, and service delivery model. ECP helps you receive structured requests and manage communication, but it does not intervene in the commercial agreement. This keeps the marketplace flexible for different industries and service types. Applicants choose based on your response quality and fit.

Is provider data and applicant data protected?

Providers only see the information shared in the application they received. Applicants often start with high-level information and add details later, which is normal. Data handling principles are described in the platform's Terms and Privacy Policy. Use the built-in workflow to avoid scattering sensitive details across channels.
